We strive to offer our attorneys a flexible and comfortable work environment. In addition to a generous benefits package, we offer the following:
- Childcare. In the Washington, DC, office, Arnold & Porter LLP's Children's Center offers full-time on-site childcare on a cost-recovery basis for up to 48 children, ages three months through pre-school. The Children's Center is open five days a week for regular childcare with weekday evening childcare available. In addition, the Arnold & Porter Children's Center provides free onsite backup care for up to seven children and is open seven days a week for emergency care, subject to availability. The firm has a "priority access" arrangement with Bright Horizons. Priority access does not guarantee a spot, however, it does allow our employees to be put on the priority list for any openings that are available at the centers in New York City, Washington, DC, McLean, Virginia, or Los Angeles, CA. In our Washington, DC, office, we provide a private room for nursing mothers and make accommodations for privacy in the firm's other offices.
- Facilities. In all offices, the firm has a "Garden Room" where attorneys can gather for refreshments at the end of the day and for pizza every Thursday or Friday evening.
- Technology. Attorneys are provided with the option of a laptop computer with a docking station or a desktop computer. Attorneys may also request a Blackberry for wireless access to e-mail.
