Arnold & Porter Announces the Election of Seven New Partners, Three New Counsel

WASHINGTON, DC, March 1, 2016 -- Arnold & Porter LLP has elected seven new partners: Reeves Anderson, Dominique Casimir, Mahnu Davar, Stanton Jones, Ryan Nishimoto, Matt Salzmann and Paige Sharpe.  The firm also elected three new counsel: Jennifer Karmonick, Andras Kosaras and Matt Shultz.

New Partners

Reeves Anderson is a member of Arnold & Porter’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice, based in Denver.  He earned his JD from Yale Law School and a M.Phil. from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He received his BS and BA degrees, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University.

Dominique Casimir is a member of the firm’s Government Contracts practice, resident of the firm’s Washington, DC office.  She earned her JD from Harvard Law School and received her BA from Georgetown University.

Mahnu Davar, a member of Arnold & Porter’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Regulatory practice, is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.  He received his BA, with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from Johns Hopkins University.  He received his MA in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he is currently an adjunct lecturer.

Stanton Jones is a member of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice, based in Washington, DC.  He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.  He received his MA from Johns Hopkins University and his BA from the University of Michigan. 

Ryan Nishimoto is a member of Arnold & Porter’s Intellectual Property practice, resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office.  He earned his JD from Boston College Law School and received his BS from Pepperdine University.

Matt Salzmann is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice, based in New York.  He received his JD from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark, where he was elected Order of the Coif.  He received his BA from the University of Vermont.

Paige Sharpe, a member of the firm’s Product Liability Litigation practice, is resident in Arnold & Porter’s Washington, DC office.  She earned her JD, with high honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was elected Order of the Coif.  She received her MA from the University of Virginia and her BA, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Randolph-Macon Woman's College.

New Counsel

Jennifer Karmonick is in the firm’s Consumer Product Safety practice, based in Washington, DC.  She earned her JD, with high honors, from George Washington University, where she was elected Order of the Coif.  She received her AB from Brown University and her MBA from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Andras Kosaras is in Arnold & Porter’s Tax-Exempt Organizations practice, resident in the firm’s Washington, DC office.  He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from the New England School of Law.  He received his BA, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Matthew Shultz is a member of the firm’s Antitrust/Competition practice, based in Washington, DC.  He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from the Washington and Lee University School of Law.  He received his BS, with high distinction, from the University of Virginia.
