Arnold & Porter’s Rwanda Campbell Honored as Tahirih Justice Center’s ‘Pro Bono Attorney of the Year’
Washington, DC, April 18, 2016 -- Arnold & Porter LLP’s Rwanda Campbell was recently honored by the Tahirih Justice Center as its 2015-16 “Greater DC Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.” Ms. Campbell was recognized during the national non-profit’s 19th Gala Awards dinner in the nation’s capital for her exemplary willingness to take on “complex cases for some of Tahirih’s most traumatized clients with zeal and compassion … [as well as take on] … a leadership role in Arnold & Porter LLP’s signature project to help former Tahirih clients and their children become permanent U.S. residents.” The firm is a major partner of the Tahirih Justice Center, which has served nearly 19,000 individuals fleeing violence against women in the U.S. and around the world since 1997.
