Chambers UK 2024 Ranks Arnold & Porter Practices, Lawyers

October 20, 2023

Chambers UK continues to highlight Arnold & Porter as a “Leading Firm” in the UK, with the publication’s 2024 guide recognizing six of the firm’s practice areas and 17 lawyers as “Leading Individuals.” The annual legal guide assesses firms and individuals based on interviews, submissions, and work highlights.

The 2024 guide once again ranked the firm’s UK Life Sciences: Product Liability and Life Sciences: Regulatory practices in Band 1. Clients and peers praised the practices for their ability to expertly navigate complex regulatory framework, noting that they are “frequently called upon to challenge decisions made by regulatory agencies.” Clients lauded the Commercial and Corporate Litigation practice for its ability to “address difficult issues” and its “notable expertise in cross-border litigation.”

Chambers UK also highlighted that the firm’s Financial Crime: Corporates practice is “a well-regarded team” that “is called upon by clients to conduct internal investigations.” The guide described the International Arbitration: Investor-State Arbitration practice as “renowned for advising sovereign states in Europe, Latin America and Asia on investment arbitrations” and the Public International Law practice as “impressive,” with “enviable experience representing national governments, NGOs and corporations in Latin American, Europe, and the APAC region in high-profile commercial, BIT and international human rights disputes.”
