Join us for an interactive discussion addressing the expansive business opportunities created by the recently enacted Recovery Act. Reports have indicated that the stimulus package will generate US$350 billion in new contracting opportunities, but not without greatly increased oversight and accountability. Funds derived from the package will be available for the energy, infrastructure, construction, healthcare, education, public safety, and government services industries, to name a few.

The programs, led by a panel of industry leaders from Arnold & Porter and PricewaterhouseCoopers, will focus on where the federal and California state governments will be issuing contracts and how to identify those business opportunities while highlighting the new procurement requirements of the Recovery Act, and the existing landscape of compliance issues associated with doing business with the government. We will also take a look at past emergency spending and draw out the lessons learned so you can avoid being the target of investigations and enforcement actions going forward.
