In June 2011, the Supreme Court decided Wal-Mart v. Dukes,  arguably the most significant class action opinion ever issued by the Court. Wal-Mart imposed uniform, and uniformly rigorous, class certification standards in all federal courts.
On the first anniversary of this landmark decision, members of Arnold & Porter LLP's litigation practice group and consumer industry group will provide in-house counsel with practical analyses of the Supreme Court's decision and will examine its impact to date on class actions and class action law.

The panel will include the following Arnold & Porter attorneys:
• James F. Speyer (Los Angeles)
• Kelly Welchans (Los Angeles)
• Angel A. Garganta (San Francisco)
