Our employment and government contracts lawyers assist federal contractors in complying with the Service Contract Act (SCA), as well as with employment litigation, including federal and state lawsuits, and arbitrations and mediations claiming wrongful termination, breach of contract, discrimination and harassment, invasion of privacy, and “whistleblower” violations.

Our lawyers assist federal contractors in negotiating high-level employment contracts and handling difficult termination issues, as well as sensitive matters involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets.  We have litigated employment disputes in state and federal courts, representing clients in cases involving a variety of allegations of employment discrimination and wrongful termination, including violations of Title VII, federal civil rights laws, state employment laws, breach of contract, and sexual harassment.  A contractor’s exposure under the SCA or Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act can be diminished significantly by careful planning and early action if an employment claim is filed.  The firm has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state and local human rights agencies, and can draw on its experience with administrative procedures ranging from mediation through judicial appeals.
