Our group is skilled in all phases of US and international patent prosecution, including appeals and interference proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and foreign opposition practices.
We work closely with clients in business transactions where our ability to assess patent issues in the context of financial and commercial transactions is enhanced by our understanding of the technologies and industries. In this regard, we are regularly retained to perform due diligence evaluations associated with many business transactions, often in combination with our corporate and commercial attorneys, who also have extensive experience in these industries.
