Alison Brown is a partner in the firm's London office. She focuses her practice on product liability litigation and product safety matters. Ms Brown handles both unitary claims and group actions and coordinates litigation throughout the UK and Europe. For nearly 20 years, she has represented defendants in some of the major group actions brought in the UK. She acts on behalf of clients in a range of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and food. She also advises on risk management and product safety, including product recalls, and acts in litigation relating to the recovery of recall costs.
Ms Brown also advises on all aspects of regulatory compliance, including investigations and enforcement actions by UK regulatory agencies such as the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and Trading Standards authorities and defends companies and individuals against criminal prosecutions for alleged breach of regulatory requirements.
She also handles commercial and public law litigation in the UK and European Courts and has experience in cases against regulatory agencies.
