Rachel Chanin is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including commercial class actions, unfair competition and false advertising claims, and California Proposition 65 actions. She also has experience on intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent disputes, and maintains an appellate practice with experience in both state and federal courts.
Ms. Chanin graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from New York University School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Annual Survey of American Law. Following law school, Ms. Chanin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Chertoff, of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2003-04) and the Honorable Kenneth M. Karas, of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (2004-05).
