Practice Focus

Candida Harty is an associate in Arnold & Porter LLP’s litigation practice. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Harty was a law clerk to the Honorable Zoe Bush at the District of Columbia Superior Court in both the Civil Division and Family Court. While working in the Civil Division, Ms. Harty researched and drafted orders ruling upon civil issues including corporate contract disputes, mortgage fraud, attorneys’ fees, and medical malpractice. While working at the Family Court, Ms. Harty researched a variety of family law issues including neglect, delinquency, and adoption. 

While in law school, Ms. Harty worked as a student-attorney with Georgetown's Domestic Violence Clinic, helping victims of domestic violence obtain civil protection orders (CPOs).
