Taja-Nia Henderson is an associate in the firm's litigation practice group, focusing on complex commercial litigation. Ms. Henderson's experience includes assisting clients with civil litigation in state and federal courts, administrative appeals of local and federal agency decisions, government investigations, and counseling primarily in the areas of securities fraud, consumer fraud, land use/zoning, and products liability. She has also contributed to the blog on consumer marketing legal issues, www.consumeradvertisinglawblog.com.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Henderson has an active pro bono practice, focusing on civil rights and constitutional law issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Henderson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall, US District Court, Central District of California, and as the Derrick Bell Teaching Fellow in Constitutional Law at New York University School of Law.
Ms. Henderson is a 2005 graduate of New York University School of Law where she was a Dean's Scholar and Senior Notes Editor of the New York University Law Review. During law school, she held internship positions with various organizations and entities, including the US Attorney's Office of the Southern District of New York, the Urban Justice Center, and the Community Service Society. Ms. Henderson is also proficient in Portuguese.
