mHealth and Emerging Technologies: Changing Healthcare Delivery

Providing an In-Depth Look at the Regulatory Landscape:
A Webcast Series

How is Medicare adapting to the mHealth and Emerging Technologies Revolution?

Health IT, mHealth, and telemedicine are changing how healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other healthcare entities provide healthcare and coordinate patient care. On October 1, the transition to ICD-10 will occur — creating a wealth of new data for healthcare providers. This year, Medicare began paying physicians for chronic care management in fee-for-service Medicare. Recently enacted changes to Medicare's payment system for physicians make meaningful use of EHRs a permanent factor in the payment equation. And the June final rule for ACOs says CMS will consider phasing in payment for telehealth services in 2017, pending evaluation of a pilot program. This webinar will address these new incentives for physicians to adopt health IT and the opportunities for mobile technologies to coordinate care in the evolving healthcare delivery system.
