Charles Douglas Bethill's practice covers a wide range of corporate, regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on the financial services industry.
Mr. Bethill represents clients in significant corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He also represents clients in complex financing transactions, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, private placements, equipment leases and sale-leasebacks.
Mr. Bethill advises clients on corporate governance matters, including inter-company transactions, conflicts of interest, corporate best practices and business ethics. He also advises clients on regulatory matters, including compliance with state and federal banking laws and SRO rules and regulations.
Mr. Bethill is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was the Administrative Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. He received an MA and MPhil from Columbia University, and his AB, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from Columbia College.
