Rob Bratby advises on regulatory, corporate and commercial matters in the telecoms, media, and technology sectors in Europe and Asia. 

Rob provides regulatory counsel in the telecoms, media and technology sectors and on data privacy and cyber security issues more widely. He advises clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, equity and debt investments, and provides strategic counsel to companies and their boards. His commercial practice includes sourcing, e-commerce, m-commerce, cloud, digital and mobile money, and telecoms and technology industry specific contracts such as sub-sea cables systems, satellites, network sharing and MVNOs. From his time working in Asia, Rob has expertise in structuring foreign investment into emerging markets. Rob’s experience before joining the firm includes law firm leadership positions in Europe and Asia, working in-house at a European telecoms operator and working for the UK telecoms regulator, Oftel.
