Dani Elks focuses her practice on assisting clients in the life sciences and healthcare industries. She has advised a broad range of clients, including retail pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospital systems, vision care providers, physician practices, hospices, home health agencies, and private equity investors. Ms. Elks assists clients with healthcare regulatory matters, fraud and abuse compliance, False Claims Act (FCA) litigation, transactional due diligence, government investigations, and contract disputes.

Ms. Elks graduated with honors from the George Washington School of Law where she was a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. She also worked full-time during law school first as a paralegal with the US Department of Justice Civil Fraud Division, where she assisted in FCA investigations and litigation involving government contractors both within the healthcare space and more generally, and then as a law clerk at another leading law firm in the healthcare space. Ms. Elks earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park.
