Nancy Fuchs is a retired partner whose work involved representing corporate, strategic, private equity and venture capital clients in acquisitions, divestitures, investments and joint venture transactions. Many of the private equity transactions involve complex governance and liquidity rights in control and non-control situations. She has experience in acquisitions and restructuring of financially-distressed companies.
A significant focus of her practice centered around cross-border acquisitions and investments. She brought extensive experience representing foreign companies in acquisition and investment transactions in the US requiring government approvals, including those involving Exon-Florio reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Ms. Fuchs served as general counsel for the North American operations of a European client that acquires and operates marine, industrial valve, and material handling distribution equipment companies, and was a member of the board of directors of its US holding company.
Ms. Fuchs' work involved a broad array of industries, including pharmaceutical and medical devices, aerospace and defense, machinery and equipment, and infrastructure.
Ms. Fuchs received her law degree from New York University School of Law, where she was a Member and Editor of the International Law and Politics.
