Laura Hsu’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions. She has extensive experience working with private equity and strategic clients.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Laura practiced real estate at a major New York law firm where she advised on real estate M&A, financing, securitization and joint venture transactions. Her diverse background provides her a fundamental framework for understanding how different aspects of a transaction come together. Laura draws on this experience to efficiently assist her clients at all stages of their transactions.

Laura earned her law degree from the Yale Law School, where she won the Quintin Johnstone Prize in Real Property, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, with highest distinction in General Scholarship and with high honors with respect to the History Major.
