Rhiannon Hughes has considerable experience of large multiparty pharmaceutical product liability matters, including the Third Generation Oral Contraceptives Litigation, the MMR Litigation, the Fetal Anti-Convulsant litigation, and the Rosiglitazone Group Litigation - all of which were successfully defended.
Rhiannon has also assisted in several high profile competition cases, both in the EU and UK, in which she manages the disclosure obligations of clients. She has experience of public and administrative law cases, including acting for a number of pharmaceutical clients against government regulatory bodies and manufacturers of generic medicines, concerning the regulation and licensing of innovative medicinal products.
Rhiannon has a joint honours degree in Spanish and Italian and is also a fluent Welsh speaker, with a working knowledge of French.
