Gary Humes is a retired partner who focused his real estate practice in the areas of build-to-suit transactions, large-scale office leases, public-private partnerships, large-scale leasing and other complex transactions involving the federal government, and real estate development and financing. His clients included FORTUNE 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, large law firms, hotel owners and operators, and real estate developers. He structured and negotiated ground and space leases, joint ventures, purchase agreements, design and construction contracts, brokerage and development management agreements, and tax-exempt and taxable financings. Mr. Humes also handled the negotiation of major construction contracts for US government and other facilities.
