Megan Juel advises a wide variety of clients, including both public and private companies, on employee benefit and executive compensation issues, as well as related tax and securities law matters, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. Ms. Juel also represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Juel was an associate in the ERISA & Executive Compensation practice of another Am Law 100 firm, where she advised companies across the private equity, real estate, financial services, technology and life sciences industries.
Ms. Juel graduated cum laude from Yale University, earning her bachelor's degree with distinction, and holds a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, from which she also graduated cum laude. She also attended an international exchange program at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, focusing on International and Comparative Business Law.
