Michelle Kniffin focuses her practice on civil litigation in federal and state courts. Ms. Kniffin also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Ms. Kniffin graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2017. In law school, Ms. Kniffin led academic support sessions for first-year students on legal writing and analysis. She also provided research assistance and analysis to Dean Emerita and Distinguished Professor Rachel Moran on education law and policy. Ms. Kniffin served as an extern at Children's Rights and the California Attorney General's Civil Rights Enforcement Section.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kniffin worked as a high school math teacher in New York City, while earning her MS in Math Education at St. John's University. Ms. Kniffin graduated, cum laude, from the University of Vermont with a BA in Economics.
