Michael Kopp focuses his practice on federal and state court actions involving individual and class claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour infractions. He has successfully defended employers in jury trials, arbitrations, administrative hearings, class actions, and multidistrict litigation.

Mr. Kopp specializes in the defense of high stakes complex and class action litigation, including actions consolidated in multidistrict litigation. He has successfully first-chaired numerous grievance arbitrations involving discipline and contract interpretation, and has defended unfair labor practice charges on behalf of clients in refinery, healthcare, and transportation industries. He has also first-chaired multiple employment law actions to complete defense jury verdicts in state trial courts, and has successfully defended judgments on appeal, including arguing and winning a matter of first impression under the Family Medical Leave Act before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
