Jessica Laguerre focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes and product liability matters. Ms. Laguerre's experience ranges from representing individuals in actions seeking to quiet title on commercial properties to representing pharmaceutical companies in product liability matters. She has experience in all phases of the litigation process, ranging from discovery and motion practice, to trial and settlement negotiations. She is currently an integral member of the defense team representing a large pharmaceutical company involved in a multidistrict litigation.
Ms. Laguerre is also dedicated to pro bono. While working on pro bono cases, she has successfully argued before the Second Judicial Department regarding alleged spoliation of evidence and negotiated a favorable settlement on behalf of her client in a wrongful termination action. Ms. Laguerre is also committed to mentorship.
Ms. Laguerre received her JD from Cornell Law School, where she served as a Note Editor on the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. During law school, she interned with the Kings County District Attorney's office in New York City, where she second chaired a homicide trial. Ms. Laguerre received her BS, cum laude, from Binghamton University.
