Ronald Leibow has served as head of the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department and Managing Partner in Kaye Scholer’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Leibow concentrated his practice in the area of bankruptcy corporate reorganization and finance, including the representation of debtors, creditors and creditor groups such as creditors’ committees, as well as secured creditor, bondholder and equity committees and other parties in Chapter 11 cases. He also served those same constituencies in out-of-court debt restructuring and workouts, and assisted purchasers in the acquisition of troubled companies and the assets of such companies.
Mr. Leibow has served as an Assistant Professor at California State University, Northridge and as a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses on the legal aspects of urban planning and municipal finance, as well as on insolvency issues. He has also written and published extensively, and often speaks before various groups and associations on matters of interest in the insolvency field.
