CJ Mahler advises clients on a variety of legislative and regulatory healthcare matters. He works closely with pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, hospital systems, healthcare provider associations, and non-profit organizations on a range of federal policy issues. He monitors healthcare policy developments and conducts research to assist clients in the development of strategic plans to engage with key stakeholders in Congress and the Executive branch.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mahler gained valuable experience in healthcare policy, international relations, and government affairs. He interned for the Health team of the Senate HELP Committee under Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-TN). In this role, he worked primarily on issues regarding national healthcare expenditures, electronic health records, the Opioid Crisis, and drug pricing. He worked as a Federal Affairs Intern for a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer in Washington, DC, where he evaluated the impacts of drug pricing reform proposals and strategized federal advocacy and Congressional outreach efforts. Mr. Mahler also served as an intern for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and for Senator Bob Corker (R-TN).
