Erin Soyoung Park's practice focuses on technology transactions and intellectual property matters. She advises clients on outsourcing agreements, license agreements, joint development agreements, the commercialization of new technologies, privacy and data security issues, and the IP and technology aspects of M&A transactions.
Ms. Park is also involved in the firm's pro bono activities, providing advice to startup incubators, small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Ms. Park was an associate at a Chambers-ranked IP law firm based in Seoul, Korea.
Ms. Park graduated with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School where she served as an International Associate Editor for the Journal of International Law, and an LL.M. representative for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She received her JD, with distinction, from Korea University, where she served as the Vice President of the Mediation Clinic in the Clinical Legal Education Center, and received the Suklim Society Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Ms. Park is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Republic of Korea.
