Karen Rigberg's practice focuses on antitrust compliance and helping companies build and enhance their antitrust compliance programs. Specifically, she advises companies on antitrust issues and helps them craft and implement clear and practical antitrust policies, procedures, trainings (including tailored e-trainings), resource documents, governance, monitoring, and assessments so they, and most importantly their employees, can better understand and mitigate their respective antitrust risks.
Karen Rigberg brings to her practice years of hands-on experience meeting business goals and client needs. As managing counsel at Toyota, Ms. Rigberg was responsible for a diverse portfolio of subject areas, including antitrust compliance, consumer protection, wholesale and retail sales and service processes, car sharing, vehicle fleet, and certified used vehicle programs. She also handled product class actions, trademark enforcement claims, dealer franchise matters, product liability litigation, and supervised all US warranty and Lemon Law work for the corporation. In each of these areas, Ms. Rigberg worked alongside business teams throughout the company to help them recognize and address the applicable legal issues in their respective business activities.
Ms. Rigberg began her legal career at another law firm where her practice concentrated on product liability litigation.
