Carolyn Shanahan's practice focuses on complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts, including a variety of contract, media, and other business litigation and arbitration matters. She has experience in all stages of trial and pre-trial proceedings, including the management of discovery, motion practice, and witness preparation.
While in law school, Ms. Shanahan worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Carol Bagley Amon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She was also an Articles Editor of the Jailhouse Lawyer's Manual, Columbia Human Rights Law Review, and an intern at Bronx Defenders.
