Yujin (Reina) Sung

Senior Associate

Reina Sung is an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation practice. Reina represents Korean companies in cross-border commercial litigation, internal and government investigations, and international arbitration. Reina has handled all phases of civil litigation, from drafting complaints, conducting discovery, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, participating in trials, and conducting settlement negotiations. She has successfully represented Korean companies across a wide array of industries, including pharmaceutical, construction, insurance, and shipbuilding in various U.S. state and federal courts as well as in ICC, LCIA, and LMAA arbitrations.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Reina practiced litigation in the United States and was an associate for two premier law firms based in Seoul. She previously completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Peter M. Reyes, Jr. in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Reina graduated cum laude from University of Minnesota Law School, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship and served as the Managing Editor of the Minnesota Journal of International Law. She also obtained her LL.M. degree at Uppsala University in Sweden as part of the J.D. – LL.M. dual degree program.

Reina is fluent in Korean.
