Marcia Valadez Valente represents clients in a broad range of business disputes and complex commercial litigation in state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Valente worked at an international law firm in New York City, where she developed experience in all aspects of commercial litigation.
Ms. Valente has worked on significant pro bono matters, including having served as a legal advocate during law school at the Innocence Project in New York City, where she litigated to exonerate wrongly convicted individuals through DNA testing. She is committed to educational advancement and philanthropy. She currently serves on the volunteer board for The Foundation for Reed Schools, and she is a member of the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association.
Ms. Valente received a BA in Political Science, with honors, from Stanford University, and a JD, cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif, from Cardozo School of Law. She has served as a class chair for Stanford University reunions, where she has lead fundraising efforts to support undergraduate education. She is a native Spanish speaker.
