Welcome to Qui Notes

We are pleased to announce Arnold & Porter's new blog Qui Notes: Unlocking the False Claims Act, or simply Qui Notes for short. Several of us previously blogged on False Claims Act (FCA) issues before joining the firm, and it is great to be back. Expect breaking news and in-depth analysis, including for our launch a first-look at the 2018 Fiscal Year FCA statistics, which include more than a few surprises.

We hope the functionality is fairly self-explanatory, but please look to our methodology post for an explanation on how we crunch and display the numbers. We expect some additional features to be rolled out over the coming weeks and months but hope that our readers will provide us feedback to help us tailor the blog to the FCA practitioner.

And yes, we decide the perennial debate over how to pronounce the "Qui" in "Qui Tam" in favor of our blog's name, but we understand reasonable minds can differ. On one thing we are clear: this blog is the stop for key news and analysis on all things False Claims Act.
