Hartmut Renz Speaks About Organizational Challenges in Implementing the New German MaRisk Compliance Function (Cologne)

Hartmut T. Renz, Counsel in the Frankfurt office of Kaye Scholer, will speak at a banking compliance conference on March 12, 2014 in Cologne about organizational challenges in implementing the new German Minimum Requirements for Risk Management (MaRisk) compliance function. BaFin, the German regulator, requires a new compliance function under MaRisk, which is responsible for screening, based on a risk analysis, and monitoring all relevant legal requirements for each credit institution.
