December 17, 2012

Washington, DC, December 17, 2012 -- Arnold & Porter LLP represented The Charles Schwab Corporation in a $350 million senior notes offering. The senior notes were offered at 0.850% and are due in 2015. The deal was launched on December 3, 2012 and closed on December 6, 2012. This marks the fourth securities deal that Arnold & Porter's corporate team has done for Schwab in 2012. Schwab's relationship with the firm dates back to the company's IPO in 1987. The Arnold & Porter team was led by corporate partner Teresa Johnson and included tax partners Stuart Lipton and Cynthia Mann and corporate associate Catrine Galler Brown. The lead underwriters of the deal were Citigroup and Goldman, Sachs & Co.
