Kirk Jenkins Joins Arnold & Porter's Appellate & Supreme Court Practice as Senior Counsel in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, September 21, 2020 — Arnold & Porter is pleased to announce that Kirk Jenkins has joined the firm's Appellate & Supreme Court practice as senior counsel, resident in the firm's San Francisco office.

Mr. Jenkins, formerly head of the appellate practice group of an AmLaw 200 firm, has been appellate counsel in more than 250 matters. He has extensive experience in antitrust and constitutional law, as well as products liability, RICO, price fixing, information sharing among competitors and class certification. In addition to handling appeals, he also regularly works with trial teams to ensure that important issues are properly presented and preserved for appellate review. He is a pioneer in the application of data analytics to appellate decision-making and writes two analytics blogs, the California Supreme Court Review and the Illinois Supreme Court Review, as well as regularly writing for various legal publications.

Mr. Jenkins is the President of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers, an elected fellow of the invitation-only American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, the California state chair of the ABA's Council of Appellate Lawyers and an elected member of the American Law Institute. He has been recognized by his peers by selection to Best Lawyers in America in appellate law every year since 2010.
