Breadth of experience. Our lawyers have been involved in precedent-setting cases in virtually every major sector including:

Deep bench of skilled litigators. Nearly 600 litigators work across the firm's offices as one multi-disciplinary team. We draw on the significant experience of former federal, state, and international prosecutors; former government officials; former clerks to the US Supreme Court, and appellate and district courts; and our seasoned trial lawyers to provide creative, effective solutions.

Renowned regulatory and industry experience. Clients benefit from our firm's distinctive regulatory and industry expertise. We combine a deep understanding of the business issues facing our clients with creative legal analysis to develop the most effective defense strategy.

Trial-ready approach. With a deep bench of first chair trial lawyers, our team has successfully represented clients in hundreds of jury and bench trials. By preparing each case for trial, we are able to aggressively pursue the most favorable results for our clients—whether it is securing a verdict, winning through motion practice, or avoiding the risks of litigation through negotiation.

Premiere class action defense. Our firm has defended hundreds of class actions and other cases involving aggregate claims lawsuits, and we regularly prevail on dispositive motions, class certification motions, at trial, and on appeal. We frequently are asked to develop and implement and lead joint defense groups, coordinate multi-district or multi-forum litigation, and litigate non-class mass actions.
