Experience

Spirit AeroSystems Public offering
Represented client in its public offering of $300 million of senior unsecured notes and a related tender offer for outstanding notes, the client’s first investment grade offering.
Los Angeles City Council Lawsuit with Ontario International Airport
Served as lead trial counsel advising client on a $250 million settlement to return Ontario International Airport to Inland control, ending an ongoing battle regarding the airport’s operation.
Veling Ltd. Partnership agreement
Advised this niche aircraft leasing company, in its partnership with Flexpoint Ford, a private equity firm focused on the financial services and healthcare sectors, to provide client with equity capital to support the purchase and leaseback of over $1 billion of commercial aircraft to high-quality airlines over the next two years.
Vietjet Air Aircraft purchases
Advised this Vietnamese low-cost carrier and rising star of Asian aviation, in purchasing thirty A321 jets from Airbus, including nine A321ceos (current engine option) and twenty one A321neos (new engine option) narrow-bodied single aisle aircraft, worth a total of $3.6 billion at list price.
Wheels Up Capital raise
Advised this membership-based private aviation company on a new capital round of up to $115 million led by funds and trusts managed by T. Rowe Price.
