Bank of America

Our attorneys represented Bank of America in connection with the original restructuring of a multi-billion dollar credit facility to Archstone, one of the largest multifamily residential property companies in the United States, and its affiliates. We continue to represent Bank of America as the agent under the restructured facility and with respect to its equity interests. Archstone was a public REIT that was acquired in 2007 by a consortium led by Lehman, Tishman Speyer, Bank of America, along with a co-investor, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $22.2 billion, financed in part with approximately $16 billion of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities and syndicated bank debt.
