Fair Housing Act case

Major Multinational Bank and Mortgage Lender

Our attorneys secured dismissal of all claims against defendants, a major multinational bank and mortgage lender, in an alleged housing discrimination case in the Southern District of New York. Plaintiff Tony Wong filed this case in April 2014, alleging a disparate impact theory of housing discrimination under the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Human Rights Law.  The court dismissed the case by relying on our threshold statute of limitations defense.
