Greenberg to Co-chair the ABA’s 2016 National
M&A Institute
Senior Corporate partner Joel Greenberg will co-chair the ABA’s 21st National M&A Institute to be held in New Orleans from November 3–4, 2016. Throughout the two-day event, Greenberg will speak on four different panels in addition to serving as co-chair.
The institute, formerly known as the National Institute on Negotiating Business Acquisitions, features expert panelists, including nationally known mergers & acquisitions lawyers and investment bankers from across the country, who will discuss all facets of the acquisition process, including:
- techniques used in structuring and negotiating M&A deals;
- the tax and securities law aspects of business acquisitions;
- and the methodologies utilized in valuing acquisition targets.
Greenberg’s sessions will specifically address structuring the acquisition of a privately held business for cash and for stock, negotiating the acquisition agreement, valuation and purchase price-related issues and ethical issues in M&A transactions.
