Jay Waks Speaks at Meeting of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law

Jay Waks, partner in the Litigation Department of the New York office and chair of the firm's Employment & Labor Law practice, delivered a speech on the subject of the "Litigation and Arbitration of Employment Class and Collective Actions", at the February 12, 2007 mid-winter meeting of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law. This meeting addressed the topic of "ADR in Labor and Employment Law" for corporate counsel, practitioners and professional arbitrators. William Poorten assisted Mr. Waks in his presentation which was based upon the article they jointly authored, entitled "Employment Class Arbitration: An Oxymoron? Or a Matter of Contract?", in the October 2006 issue of Alternatives, the publication of the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
