William Zifchak Spoke at Aon Consulting Industry Symposium

William C. Zifchak, Partner in the Employment and Labor Law group, was a panelist at Aon’s Annual Consulting Industry Symposium in New York on June 15, 2011. General Counsel and other senior executives from several major companies were present. Mr. Zifchak addressed “Emerging Trends in Employment Practices and Management Liability Litigation,” including the potential impact of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform law on the field of employment retaliation litigation; the National Labor Relations Board’s unanticipated new initiatives in the areas of social media, non-disclosure agreements and e-commerce as well as the Board’s complaint against the Boeing Company for its alleged “runaway shop” actions; and the alarming frequency with which class actions are being brought against professional services firms under the sex discrimination and wage-hour laws. Associate Tricia Beckles and Summer Associate Alice Huling assisted Mr. Zifchak with preparation of the materials distributed to conference attendees.
