Daniel DiNapoli to Co-Present at the International Congress on Paragraph IV Litigation
On September 23-24, IP Partner Daniel DiNapoli will speak at the International Congress on Patent IV Litigation in New York. Dan’s presentation will be part of the session entitled, “International Litigation Case Study: How to Manage, Oversee and Coordinate Multi-Jurisdictional IP Litigation and Overcome Global Settlement Obstacles.” He will be joined by Jason Markwell of Norton Rose Fulbright, who worked closely with Dan on one of the Canadian Viagra cases. The two will provide insight and solutions to cross-border litigation challenges, as seen in one of the largest patent litigations in the history of the pharmaceutical industry. Attendees can expect to learn about the considerations for US life sciences companies when filing patent suits abroad, exploring pre-litigation strategies that can be used to uphold or invalidate foreign patents, overcoming foreign discovery challenges, handling varying results in different jurisdictions and more.
