Daniel DiNapoli to Speak at Paragraph IV Disputes Master Symposium

On October 4, IP Partner Daniel DiNapoli will speak at the Paragraph IV Disputes Master Symposium in Chicago. Dan’s presentation entitled, “Inequitable Conduct: Ethical Considerations for Paragraph IV Matters Before the PTO and District Courts,” will explore the evolving legal, regulatory and procedural developments that are re-shaping the world of Hatch-Waxman pharmaceutical patent litigation. Dan, along with his fellow panelists, will discuss the Federal Circuit’s tightening of the inequitable conduct standard in Therasense, investigate the PTO’s adoption of the Therasense standard in its proceedings, examine inequitable conduct and Patent Reform and explore recent applications of Therasense in a Paragraph IV scenario.
