Drew Benzaia is a passionate and scrupulous advocate who aids clients in their efforts to understand and navigate the intricacies of the federal government. She monitors policy developments, conducts research, and tracks and analyzes federal legislation to aid in client advocacy and stakeholder outreach in Congress and the executive branch. Drew works closely with clients in a variety of policy areas, including international trade and foreign sovereigns.
Prior to joining the firm, Drew developed an advanced understanding of public policy and the legislative process through work with a national civil rights organization. In this role, she worked primarily on judicial nominations and legislative advocacy. She has further developed her focus on the federal judiciary through several independent research projects, one of which was recently published on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Carolina Digital Repository.
