Lisa Cordara focuses her practice on complex and commercial litigation and white collar matters. She has experience with internal and government investigations as well as litigation involving antitrust law, environmental law, and contract disputes.
Lisa clerked for the Honorable Denny Chin, who serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cordara interned for the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco, who then served on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also externed for the Federal Defenders of New York in the Eastern District.
Lisa received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Paul Fuller Scholar and served as associate editor for the Fordham International Law Journal. She was a member of the Fordham Moot Court Board, where she won Best Oralist of the I. Maurice Wormser Intraschool Moot Court Competition, Overall Winner of the Cardozo BMI Interschool Moot Court Competition, and Best Brief of the New York City Bar Association National Moot Court Competition, where she served as captain. Upon graduation, she received the Kimberly Greer Singer Award for oral advocacy, legal writing, and mentoring skills.
Lisa also serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, where she co-teaches an appellate advocacy and civil rights course with Judge Chin.
