Marissa Forte focuses her practice on white collar defense, commercial litigation, and national security matters, including anti-corruption, export controls, and sanctions. She advises clients on establishing and enhancing compliance programs, conducting compliance risk assessments, responding to government inquiries, and conducting internal investigations. Marissa also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Marissa received her degree from Harvard Law School, where she served as Technical Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights–Civil Liberties Law Review and as Line Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. While in law school, she spent two semesters externing in the Major Crimes Unit at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Marissa worked as a middle school math teacher in Nashville through Teach for America.
