Eliza Hopkins is an associate in the firm's general litigation practice group, with a focus on complex commercial litigation among other matters. Deeply committed to pro bono work, Eliza has worked on a wide range of pro bono matters relating to wrongful conviction, immigration, transgender rights, and reproductive justice, as well as representation of a death row inmate in Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment constitutional challenges.
Eliza previously clerked for the Honorable Ramón E. Reyes, Jr. of the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak of the Eastern District of New York. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as Senior Notes Editor on the NYU Law Review and as a Birnbaum Women's Leadership Fellow.
