Laura is a Senior Attorney in Arnold & Porter’s Environmental Practice Group. She assists clients with complex environmental matters, including affirmative and defensive litigation and all aspects of administrative law. Prior to joining the firm, Laura practiced contaminated sites law at a Chambers-ranked law firm, advised the water and air bureaus of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection as an Assistant Attorney General, and managed the top-ranked environmental law program at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ellen A. Gorman, Associate Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, and interned for the Honorable Patty Shwartz, former United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey.
