Mei-Wah Lee’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, government and internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions. She has counseled clients through all phases of state and federal litigation, from pre-litigation matters through trial and appeal. Mei-Wah maintains an active pro bono practice with an emphasis on civil rights and access to justice.
Mei-Wah returned to the firm after clerking for the Honorable Michael S. Nachmanoff of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Mei-Wah graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as a notes editor for the California Law Review and as an articles editor for the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law. During law school, she worked on a capital case in the Death Penalty Clinic and won parole for a client through the Post-Conviction Advocacy Project.
